Welcome!
My name is Jurgen Radier and I am a 21 year old photographer from the Netherlands. On this page I would like to tell you a bit more about myself.
Being the child of 2 KLM employees I got interested in aviation from a very young age. This first started in noting down registrations but quickly evolved in taking photographs with a film camera. With Amsterdam Schiphol nearby film developing and printing costs going through the roof I went fully digital in 2003, changing to Canon equipment.
Combining aviation with travelling, which is one of my other passions, I visited dozens of airports, airfields and dirt strips around the globe. With every location offering different posibilities I try to visit as many destinations as possible. My favorite destinations are Canada, the United states, the Czech Republic (non aviation) and Innsbruck, Austria.
Besides being a photographer I am a light and sound technician as well. In highschool I got involved in theather technics, mainly in the light area. I still do this both as a volunteer in the local theather and with a local company. It was a logical choice to combine this with photography so from time to time I photograph theather as well.
